Outfielders rules always appear first. WBSC references appear only when fewer than two relevant local clauses are found. If they conflict, Outfielders rules prevail.
About Ask Ruley
SEND FEEDBACK Ask Ruley searches indexed clauses and shows rule references. Common questions include prepared answers; other questions return matching clauses, prioritising Outfielders rules. WBSC is shown only where fewer than two relevant Outfielders clauses are found. Ask Ruley does not invent rulings and does not replace the authority of an umpire.
